Trayn (hereafter "we", "our", "the Application") is a mobile application published in France. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and are committed to complying with the applicable regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Loi Informatique et Libertés.

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your data when you use Trayn.

2. Data we collect

When you use the Application, we may collect the following data:

• Email address - if you join our waiting list or create an account.
• Journey data - train numbers, departure and arrival stations, times, which you add voluntarily for tracking.
• Technical data - device type, operating system version, anonymous identifier, for improvement and diagnostic purposes.
• Push notifications - notification token if you enable real-time alerts.

We collect no geolocation data, no contacts and no banking data.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is used to:

• Provide you with real-time train tracking features.
• Send you alerts (delays, platform changes, connections).
• Improve the Application and fix possible malfunctions.
• Contact you about the waiting list or service-related communications.

4. Legal basis for processing

The processing of your data is based on:

• Your consent - for joining the waiting list and receiving notifications.
• Performance of the contract - for providing the train tracking service.
• Our legitimate interest - for improving the Application and preventing abuse.

• Account data - kept for as long as you use the service, then deleted within 12 months of your account being deleted.
• Technical data - kept for a maximum of 12 months.
• Waiting list - kept until the Application launches or you unsubscribe.

• Technical processors - hosting, notification delivery, analytics (all located in the EU or offering adequate safeguards).

Your data is hosted in the European Union. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data (encryption, restricted access, secure backups).
