The SNCF station screen, live in your browser
Trayn faithfully reproduces the SNCF screen of every station in real time: next departures and arrivals, boarding platform, live delays, intermediate stops. The full official SNCF format (navy blue background, departure times in yellow, platform in a white block on the right) without needing to be in the station. Full-screen mode included for permanent large displays (information wall, office, television).
The SNCF CATI format
The CATI screen (Centrale d'Annonces et de Téléaffichage Informatisée) is the technical name of the official SNCF screen in mainline stations, deployed since 1996 in around 750 French stations. A recognisable format: navy blue background, alternating lighter stripes, departure time in yellow, destination name in large type, boarding platform in a white block on the right.
For a more spacious view than the CATI format, see the live SNCF station boards in a modern format.
Frequently asked questions
What is a CATI screen?
CATI stands for Centrale d'Annonces et de Téléaffichage Informatisée (computerised announcement and display system). It is the system SNCF uses to drive the screens and automatic announcements in many stations.
What information does the CATI screen show?
The board shows the next departures or arrivals, times, destinations, platforms, available delays and intermediate stops.
Which stations are covered by the Trayn CATI screen?
Trayn offers the CATI screen for the SNCF stations covered by its sources. Depending on the station, the board can show TGV INOUI, OUIGO, TGV LYRIA, Eurostar, Intercités, TER and Transilien services.
How does platform prediction work?
The Platform prediction button shows the most likely platform based on the station's usual assignments. A predicted platform is shown with a dashed outline until the official platform is published.
Is the display updated in real time?
Yes. Times, delays, platforms and available stops come from official railway data sources. The board refreshes automatically every 30 seconds.
How do I display the CATI screen in full screen?
Use the Full screen button to expand the board. The number of trains shown can be set from 4 to 25 in the settings, and the text size adapts automatically.
How do I look up a specific train?
With its number, use the train number search to see its route, its delay at every station, its platform, its composition and any cancellations. Station boards offer a less dense view.
